About

I am here to be open. I am here to be unapologetic, uninhibited and freewheeling. I’m here because it’s a platform that I can release this “thing” in me that needs somewhere to go.

Hi! Thanks for the reply. Yes, Sunday is perfect! Now where to shoot? Any ideas/preferences?

    • Ricecracker Pop · July 31, 2014

I guess it depends if you want indoor or outdoor. Outdoor we can pick anywhere to wander around and find somewhere cool to shoot. Indoor….I’ve kind of exhausted my resources with that. What did you have in mind style wise?

  3. David Oliver · July 31, 2014

Well I try and make bold, immediate images and lately i’ve been trying to get that indoors with studio lights. That said I had a shoot yesterday that was frustrating and I’m ready to shoot in nature again lol. Plus you have a vibe that works well outside I think.
So I live in SF and have precious few outdoor secret spots. I have shot near twin peaks (sutro forest) and the presidio. Always looking for abandoned warehouses and stuff for more urban decay type environments but a lot of that is gone now. So I guess what I’m trying to say is that outdoors is a great idea. I like your shots with the white dress, that would be cool.
So happy to work with you!

There are some broken down greenhouses in visitacion valley that could be cool. The white dress is with the photographer that photographed me, left it in his truck. But I can figure out something. Maybe email inspiration. sakurafarris79@gmail.com

Beautiful words. Beautiful journaling. Beautiful, raw, vulnerable, big hearted soul. Keep writing. Keep sharing.

Hello, Sakura! Wonderful to meet you the other day and so glad to have wandered our conversation into the land of kink 🙂 I went with the firm alexander and a couple pillows 😉

    • Ricecracker Pop · October 28, 2015

Haha! Yes, sometimes you can just spot the other kinksters. Enjoy your new bed!

    Hey!!
    Had to leave a comment.
Your Instagram blog got me visually. The hint of Dom scattered through pictures of style and family is the honesty most can’t admit and never will.

    Then your words got me.
I am not a reading enthusiast, not by choice just a busy life. Plus the fact I’m one of those that has to read the first page of a novel 4 times before it sinks in and by that stage I’m just about asleep.
I have only read your first chapter (and yes it did sink in the first read).
    Unbelievable, food for my soul.
It’s nice to hear the descriptive overload put into play by someone else. A perfect example is the ‘boots’, say no more.
    Thank you,
    Tate.

      Thank you, Tate.
I journaled as a kid, and then had 10 years of scrambled, desperate yet half-hearted attempts to start back at it. I never thought of my writing as art, or a skill, or, especially, as something anyone else would enjoy or even relate to.
So, when a stranger takes the time to share with me their appreciation for what I’ve put out there, and yes I have taken some risks by doing so, it fuels my passion for life, and allows me to live with no end in sight; that I can be boundless as long as I am connecting. Thank YOU.

I feel captivated by your images and your thoughts. What can I say? You are an authentic human being, strongly unbiased by conventionalisms ot society. Expressing yourself is so alive. Please continue… I’ll continue looking forward to know more about you

Your presence is missed on ig. Wishing you all the best.

    • Ricecracker Pop · December 18, 2019

Thank you, Jake. I’m figuring out what kind of creative outlet I would like to focus on with all the other changes. I’m thinking of writing something collectively, instead of putting out all my ideas here and there

I was on Instagram looking at a pic of a friend who is San Francisco on holiday and the sudden realization hit me that I haven’t see any of your posts for a very long time and sure enough you are no longer on Instagram. Whether you left on your own choice or kicked off by Instagram for whatever stupid reason they had, I’m really going miss your pics, videos of you dancing without a worry in the world, but most of all I’m going to miss your thoughts/stories that you would tell accompanying your posts. They would make me cry, they would make me laugh, They would make me think about life and so on. I hope you come back some day but if not I wish you and your family all the best.

I’ve been off/de-activated nearly all social media and miss very little of it but your beautiful videos, photos, family and musings enriched my day and I do miss that.

    • Ricecracker Pop · March 21, 2020

I’m glad to hear that they served a purpose for more than just myself. Thank you Chris
